Under the EU Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation, PAI-5 is the principal adverse impact indicator that measures an investment's exposure to non-renewable energy consumption. It quantifies the amount of energy derived from coal, oil and gas used by the entities in a portfolio, highlighting climate-related risk and the alignment of the investment with transition to low-carbon activities.
