SI Unit Categories

The SI entry groups all base and derived units into categories that form the worldwide standard for scientific and technical measurement. It defines seven base units-metre, kilogram, second, ampere, kelvin, mole and candela-and derives additional units through algebraic combinations of these fundamentals.
