Marine and Coastal Non-Reef

The BIOME-MCN entry in the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures Framework defines the marine and coastal non-reef category, encompassing habitats such as seagrass beds, mangroves, salt-marshes and tidal flats. It provides guidance for assessing the biodiversity, ecosystem services and climate-related risks and opportunities associated with these environments in financial reporting.
