Low Income: South Asia

LIC-SA is the World Bank's code for the group of South Asian economies that are classified as low-income, meaning their gross national income per capita falls below the Bank's low-income threshold. The designation is used in statistical reporting and policy analysis to separate these economies from middle- and high-income countries in the region.
