Field 37 Earth Sciences comprises research on the physical composition, structure and processes of the planet, including geology, geophysics, geochemistry, geomorphology, sedimentology and related environmental studies of soils, minerals and natural resources. It covers both fundamental and applied investigations of the Earth system.
