Sugars and sugar confectionery

Entry 17 of the EU Combined Nomenclature 2024 groups all forms of sugar and sugar confectionery, covering raw and refined sugars such as sucrose, glucose, fructose, and related products, as well as prepared sweets, candies, chocolate-coated confections and similar edible sugar-based items. It classifies both bulk sugar commodities and finished sugary treats for customs and statistical purposes.
