Residues and waste from the food industries; prepared animal fodder

Chapter 23 of the EU Combined Nomenclature groups together waste and residues produced by food-processing activities, such as animal by-products, scraps and off-cuts, together with mixed feeds that are specially prepared for animal consumption. The category covers both material destined for disposal or recycling and fodder formulated from these substances.
