Article 97 - Commission reports

Article 97 requires the European Commission to produce regular reports on the application and functioning of the GDPR, including the impact of the regulation and any needed amendments. These reports are submitted to the European Parliament, the Council and the Commission itself, and must be accompanied by an assessment of the effectiveness of the data-protection rules.
