Cat 8 - Upstream Leased Assets

Category 8 of the Greenhouse Gas Protocol Corporate Standard Scope 3 categories refers to upstream leased assets, capturing emissions associated with the extraction, production and delivery of energy and other inputs for assets a company rents but does not own. These upstream emissions are counted as part of the company's indirect (scope 3) inventory.
