Cat 9 - Downstream Transportation and Distribution

Category 9 covers emissions from the downstream transport and distribution of sold products, including the fuel used by third-party carriers, freight-forwarding services, and any subsequent warehousing or handling until the goods reach the end customer. It accounts for all GHG released in moving products through road, rail, air, sea and storage activities that are not owned or controlled by the reporting company.
