Chapter 72 of the United States Harmonized Tariff Schedule covers all iron and steel, ranging from raw material forms and semi-finished products to finished goods such as sheets, bars, pipes, plates and structural items. The chapter applies to any article made wholly or partially of iron or steel, with further subheadings specifying product types, shapes and treatment processes.
