Railway or Tramway Locomotives, Rolling Stock and Parts

Chapter 86 of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule classifies railway and tramway locomotives, multiple-unit train sets and other rolling stock, together with their major components such as frames, bodies, brakes, couplings and electrical equipment. The provision also covers parts and accessories specifically designed for these vehicles, distinguishing new from used items for tariff purposes.
