Epstein-Barr Virus-positive diffuse large B-cell lymphoma of the elderly

**Definition:** An aggressive diffuse large B-cell lymphoma affecting patients older than 50 years. Epstein-Barr virus is present in all cases. There is no known history of immunodeficiency or prior lymphoma. The majority of patients present with extranodal disease.
