Conjunctival or subconjunctival haemorrhage
**Definition:** A conjunctival haemorrhage is a small haematoma clearly delimited on the conjunctiva itself resulting from a direct blow on the eye. Subconjunctival haemorrhage extends from the orbit, forward and deep to the conjunctiva with no posterior limit.
