Secondary angle closure glaucoma due to epithelial ingrowth

**Definition:** Epithelial ingrowth is a condition after open globe trauma or surgery where conjunctival or corneal epithelial cells get access to the anterior chamber and overgrow the trabecular meshwork with subsequent intraocular pressure elevation and optic nerve damage.
