Primary infantile glaucoma

**Definition:** Primary infantile glaucoma is a condition after 2 years of age where malformation of the trabecular meshwork causes elevated intraocular pressure without enlargement of the eyeball but damage to the optic nerve similar to congenital glaucoma.
