Vestibular neuritis

**Definition:** Vestibular neuritis (also known as vestibular neuronitis) may be described as acute, sustained dysfunction of the peripheral vestibular system with secondary nausea, vomiting, and vertigo. Important negative features include aural fullness and hearing loss.
