Vestibular migraine
**Definition:** Recurrent attacks of moderate to severe vestibular symptoms lasting from 5 minutes to 72 hours in patients with a past or ongoing history of migraine headaches. Vestibular symptoms are usually spontaneous and positional vertigo, head motion-induced and visual vertigo as well as head motion-induced dizziness with nausea. Attacks of vestibular symptoms may occur together or independently of migraine symptoms like headache, photophobia, phonophobia or visual aura.
