Familial-genetic hypertrophic cardiomyopathy
**Definition:** Familial isolated hypertrophic cardiomyopathy is the presence of non-syndromic hypertrophic cardiomyopathy in multiple members of a pedigree, or in the presence of a genetic mutation known to be significantly associated with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.
