**Definition:** Non-obstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy is hypertrophic cardiomyopathy that has no fixed or dynamic intraventricular narrowing sufficient to result in a significant pressure gradient between the ventricular apex and the outflow valve (aortic or pulmonary).
