**Definition:** Drug-induced or toxic liver disease is hepatotoxicity as injury to the liver that is associated with impaired liver function caused by exposure to a drug or another noninfectious agent.

**Exclusions:** - Alcoholic liver disease - Budd-Chiari syndrome
