Liver disorders in pregnancy, childbirth or the puerperium

**Definition:** Any disorder affecting females, characterised by pathological changes to the liver that occur during pregnancy, childbirth, and the puerperium.

**Inclusions:** - Acute fatty liver of pregnancy - Intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy

**Exclusions:** - Hepatorenal syndrome following labour or delivery - Viral hepatitis
