Intracranial laceration or haemorrhage due to birth injury
**Definition:** A group of conditions characterised as a traumatic brain injury occurring when the tissue of the brain is mechanically cut or torn and bleeds in a newly delivered child due to physical pressure or injury during delivery.
**Exclusions:** - Intracranial nontraumatic haemorrhage of fetus or newborn - intracranial haemorrhage of fetus or newborn: due to anoxia, hypoxia, or ischaemia
