Receptors, Interleukin-16

**Definition:** Cell surface receptors for INTERLEUKIN-16. Although initial studies have identified CD4 ANTIGENS as receptors for interleukin-16, the fact that cells from KNOCKOUT MICE which lack CD4 antigen are responsive to IL-16 indicate that are at least 2 distinct receptors subtypes.
