Helper-Inducer T-Lymphocyte

**Definition:** A subtype of CD4+ T lymphocyte that triggers differentiation of nearby immune cells, and initiates a variety of other immune functions, including the induction of humoral and cellular inflammatory immune responses by B and other T lymphocytes, respectively.
