Ecubectedin

**Definition:** A synthetic analog of the DNA minor groove-binding agent lurbinectedin, with potential antineoplastic activity. Upon administration, ecubectedin specifically inhibits RNA synthesis thereby preventing transcription of protein-coding genes. This may kill tumor cells.
