CCND1/IGH Fusion Gene

**Definition:** A fusion gene that results from a chromosomal translocation t(11;14)(q13;q32) which places the CCND1 gene within a promoter region located in the immunoglobulin heavy chain gene locus (IGH). This rearrangement is associated with numerous lymphoproliferative B-cell malignancies.
