CCND3/IGH Fusion Gene

**Definition:** A fusion gene that results from a chromosomal translocation, t(6;14)(p21.1;q32.3), which fuses transcriptional enhancers of the immunoglobulin heavy chain (IGH) gene locus with the 5' regulatory region of the CCND3 gene. This rearrangement is associated with multiple myeloma, diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) and marginal zone lymphoma.
