Mitochondrial Autoantigen

**Definition:** A group of autoimmune, multienzyme complexes found within the inner and outer lining of the mitochondria that may be comprised of (but not limited to) M1 through M9 antigens. They are commonly associated with autoimmune hepatitis and primary biliary cholangitis/cirrhosis.
