**Definition:** Cytosol aminopeptidase (519 aa, ~56 kDa) is encoded by the human LAP3 gene. This protein is involved in both glutathione metabolism and in proteolysis that result in the removal of unsubstituted N-terminal hydrophobic amino acids.
