**Definition:** A nevus that arises from the skin and is characterized by the presence of two or more morphologically distinct melanocytic nevus components in a single lesion. One component is a conventional nevus component, and the other(s) are usually blue nevus, deep penetrating nevus, or Spitz nevus components.
