IGH/BCL10 Fusion Gene

**Definition:** A fusion gene that results from a chromosomal translocation, t(1;14)(p22;q32), which results in the juxtaposition of a strong transcriptional enhancer from the immunoglobulin heavy chain (IGH) gene locus with the promoter region of the BCL10 gene. This fusion is associated with extranodal marginal zone B-cell lymphoma of mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue (MALT lymphoma).
