Malignant Triton Tumor

**Semantic type:** Neoplastic Process

**Definition:** A malignant peripheral nerve sheath tumor which shows rhabdomyosarcomatous differentiation. More than half of the patients have neurofibromatosis type 1. The prognosis is usually poor.
