**Definition:** A pathologic regional lymph node TNM finding. The definition of pN1a finding depends on the particular type of cancer that it refers to; for example, for breast cancer, pN1a finding is defined as follows: cancer with metastases in 1-3 axillary lymph nodes, at least one metastasis larger than 2.0 mm.
