**Definition:** A finding about one or more characteristics of liver cancer, following the rules of the TNM AJCC v7 classification system. Intrahepatic bile duct cancers are no longer included in this classification. The staging of liver cancer now includes only hepatocellular carcinoma. (from AJCC 7th Ed.)
