Liver Cancer Pathologic TNM Finding v7

**Definition:** A pathologic finding about one or more characteristics of liver cancer, following the rules of the TNM AJCC v7 classification system. Complete pathologic staging consists of evaluation of the primary tumor, including histologic grade, regional lymph node status, and underlying liver disease. Regional lymph node involvement is rare (5%) except in the fibrolamellar variant of hepatocellular carcinoma. (from AJCC 7th Ed.)
