Title II - Hazardous Substance Response Revenue

Title II of the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act establishes a revenue system to support hazardous-substance response activities, authorizing the Environmental Protection Agency to assess taxes on chemicals, allocate fees, and collect funds that are deposited into a trust for cleanup and disposal of hazardous waste.
