CCFA - Committee on Food Additives

The CCFA, or Codex Committee on Food Additives, is the body within the Codex Alimentarius that develops international standards, guidelines and recommendations for the safety, use and labeling of food additives. It reviews scientific data, sets maximum levels and specifications, and aims to protect consumer health while facilitating global trade.
