Chapter III - Due Diligence Obligations

Chapter III of the EU Digital Services Act sets out due-diligence obligations for online platforms, requiring systematic risk assessment, mitigation measures, transparent reporting and cooperation with authorities to protect fundamental rights and public safety. This chapter applies to very large online platforms and ensures accountability for illegal content, disinformation and other systemic harms.
