Chapter II - B2C and B2B Data Sharing from IoT

Chapter II of the EU Data Act (2023/2854) sets out the rules for sharing data generated by Internet-of-Things devices in both business-to-consumer (B2C) and business-to-business (B2B) contexts. It obliges data holders to provide non-discriminatory access to such data under fair, transparent terms, supporting innovation while protecting users' rights and competition.
