7.3 Awareness

Clause 7.3 requires the organization to ensure that anyone performing work that can affect the environment is aware of the environmental policy, relevant objectives, their roles and the significant environmental aspects linked to their activities. This awareness must be maintained through training, communication and documented information to support effective EMS implementation.
