10.1 Nonconformity and corrective action

ISO 39001:2012 clause 10.1 requires an organization to identify any nonconformities in its road-traffic safety management system, document the nature and cause of each, and implement corrective actions to eliminate them. The corrective actions must be proportionate to the impact of the nonconformity, be verified for effectiveness, and be recorded to prevent recurrence. This process ensures continual improvement of safety performance.
