5.2 Energy policy

Section 5.2 of ISO 50001:2018 requires an organization to develop a documented energy policy that demonstrates top-management commitment to continual improvement of energy performance, compliance with legal requirements, and integration of energy considerations into business processes. The policy must be communicated to all relevant personnel and made available to interested parties, providing a basis for setting energy objectives and targets.
