6.1 Actions to address risks and opportunities

Clause 6.1 of ISO 50001:2018 requires an organization to identify and evaluate risks and opportunities that could impact the energy management system's ability to meet its objectives, and to plan and implement actions to address them. These actions must be integrated into the EMS processes, monitored, and reviewed for effectiveness.
