Category VI - Surface Vessels of War and Special Naval Equipment

Category VI of the International Traffic in Arms Regulations controls surface vessels of war-including warships, combatant craft, and associated special naval equipment such as weapons systems, fire control and propulsion components. Export, re-export, or transfer of these items requires a license from the State Department and is subject to strict end-use and end-user restrictions.
