Sec 3006 - Authorized State Programs

Section 3006 of the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act establishes the framework for states to develop authorized hazardous waste programs that meet federal standards. It authorizes the EPA to approve state plans, permitting states to implement and enforce their own regulations for waste handling, treatment, storage, and disposal while remaining consistent with national requirements.
