Subtitle C - Hazardous Waste Management

Subtitle C establishes the federal framework for hazardous waste management, defining how hazardous waste is identified, generated, transported, treated, stored and disposed of under a cradle-to-grave system. It authorizes the EPA to issue regulations, permits and enforcement actions aimed at protecting human health and the environment.
