Downstream User Obligations (Art 37-39)

Downstream users of chemicals covered by the REACH regulation must fulfil obligations set out in Articles 37 to 39, which require them to obtain and pass on safety information, ensure safe handling and use, and, where necessary, inform the European Chemicals Agency of any concerns or incidents. These duties apply to the entire supply chain beyond the original manufacturer.
