Title V - Downstream User Obligations

Title V of REACH sets out the duties of downstream users who incorporate chemicals into articles or mixtures, require safe-use information, or modify substances. It obliges users to assess risks, request additional data from suppliers when needed, and comply with any restrictions or authorisations that apply to the chemicals they handle. The provisions aim to ensure safe use throughout the supply chain and protect human health and the environment.
