Art 4 - Prevention (restriction of substances)

Article 4 of the RoHS 2 Directive sets out the preventive obligations for manufacturers and importers, requiring that all electrical and electronic equipment placed on the EU market contain no restricted hazardous substances above the specified concentration limits. It also mandates the preparation and retention of technical documentation to demonstrate compliance.
